Pierre Hugo's Fountain Pens
Pierre Hugo has created the "Bois d'Epave" collection, of which the most prestigious piece is a fountain pen dedicated to his great great grandfather Victor Hugo.
The decoration of "Bois d'Epave" is entirely hand engraved. Each piece of the collection is signed, numbered and accompanied by a certificate. Each fountain pen is handcrafted by an engraver; which makes it an unique piece, a true work of art. The numbering on each piece is preceded by the mention "GM" which stands for "Gravé Main" (Engraved by hand).
The "Pierre Hugo" fountain pen is plated with 24-carat gold. Its extremities are set with either "sodalites" (natural stones), or with smooth caps which allow initials to be engraved. Broken stones are easily replaceable. The gold and silver model "Bicolor" has the same characteristics as the "Pierre Hugo" fountain pen.
The pen is presented in a pen box, fitting its shape exactly. The box is made of solid cherry wood, fashioned by a cabinetmaker. The pens are designed in either ink-reservoir or ball-point technology.
